Dukan Khata works offline. Your shop data stays on your phone. This page says in a few lines what little goes online.

Your shop data

Your bills, udhar, stock, customers, expenses and staff records are stored only on your phone. We do not receive them and cannot see them.

What goes online

Only the basic details we need to run licences and updates:

• Shop name, shop phone number, phone model, a device ID and the app version (licence check).
• Plan, transaction ID and sender number, if you send a renewal payment.
• Rating, name, city and text, if you choose to send a review. Approved reviews are shown to other users.
• The barcode number, if you scan an unknown barcode, to find the product name.

The app also checks GitHub for new versions. We do not use ads, tracking or analytics, and we do not sell any information.

Permissions

Internet (for the above), notifications (alerts and reminders), Bluetooth (to print on your printer), and install permission (only for the in-app update).

Backups

A backup is a file you make and keep where you choose. Keep it safe, because anyone who has the file can read your shop data.

Security

We take reasonable care to keep our system secure.

Your choices

You can ask us to show, correct or delete what we hold about your shop, or to remove your review. Email udaanbeyond@gmail.com with your shop name and phone number. Deleting it does not touch the data on your phone.

If we change this policy we will update the date above.
