By installing or using Dukan Khata you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. What the app is

Dukan Khata helps a shop keep bills, stock, udhar, purchases and expenses on the phone. It is a record-keeping tool. It does not give accounting, tax or legal advice, and the bills it makes are not a substitute for any invoice rules that apply to your business.

2. Licence

We give you a personal, non-exclusive licence to use the app for your own shop. You may not copy, sell, rent or reverse-engineer the app, or use it to harm others. A new shop starts with a free trial (15 days at the time of writing). After that a paid licence may be needed to keep using the app. Plans and prices are shown inside the app (Settings, Licence and renew) and may change.

3. Payments and renewal

Renewal payments are sent to the account details shown in the app and are checked by us by hand. When we approve a payment, your licence time is extended. Please enter the transaction ID carefully, because a wrong or duplicate ID is rejected. If you paid and the licence has not been extended, email us with the transaction ID. Refunds, if any, are decided by us case by case.

4. Your data and your responsibility

Your shop data lives on your phone, so you are responsible for it. Make regular backups, use the app lock, and keep your PIN private. If you lose your phone, uninstall the app without a backup, or a backup file is damaged, we cannot recover your shop data because we do not have it.

If you add staff, you are responsible for what they do in the app and for keeping their PINs private.

5. Accuracy

You are responsible for the numbers you enter (prices, stock, udhar, payments). Please check bills, reports and totals before you rely on them or hand them to customers. We work to keep the app correct, but we cannot promise it is free of mistakes.

6. Updates

We may release updates that fix problems or add features. Some updates may be needed to keep using the app. The app may ask you to allow installing the update. Please download the app only from our official download page or from the in-app update.

7. Availability

Most of the app works offline. The licence check, renewals, reviews, welcome message and updates need internet. We may change, pause or stop parts of the service, for example for maintenance.

8. Reviews you send

If you send a review, you allow us to show it, with the name and city you wrote, to other users after we approve it. Please write only what is true and do not include anyone else's private details. We may refuse or remove a review.

9. Ending

You can stop using the app and uninstall it at any time. We may suspend a licence if these terms are broken, if payment is found to be false, or if the app is misused. See the Privacy Policy to ask for your server record to be deleted.

10. No warranty and limit of responsibility

The app is provided "as is", without promises about fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, Udaan Beyond is not responsible for losses that come from data loss, a lost or damaged phone, wrong entries, missing backups, or business decisions made using the app. Where the law does not allow this limit, our responsibility is limited to the amount you paid for your current licence period.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Please contact us first so we can try to sort out any problem together.

12. Changes

We may change these terms. The date above shows the latest version. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the new terms.
